Penzance is a small friendly town in the south
of Cornwall with a big heart. It has a friendly vibrant buzzy atmosphere and
has many shops,
bars and restaurants. There is no real gay scene as such in
Penzance but the people are gay
friendly. The Penzance Arts Club in Chapel
Street
runs a popular gay night every Sunday from 7pm until late, occasional Friday
nights from 8.30pm featuring a cool mix of northern soul, jazz funk and
house music. Penzance makes a great base to explore the part of Southern
Cornwall from St Mounts Bay, St. Michaels Mount, Lands End and flights to
the Isle of Scilly from Lands End by Helicopter or Plane. There is a daily
