This immaculately presented contemporary guest house bed and breakfast is in the heart of Bude, where the countryside quite literally meets the golden sandy beaches and shimmering ocean. All of the en-suite bedrooms are beautifully presented (one with a private patio) and well equipped with generously stocked refreshment tray, hairdryer, dressing gowns, flat screen LCD TVs with Freeview and DVD player together with many other little extra touches including wine glasses and a cork screw, that make your stay here at Sunrise special. The guest lounge is very stylish and relaxing (open fire in the cooler seasons) with widescreen TV, CD, DVD and a selection of CDs, books and magazines. Lesley is an amazingly good cook whose tables are always graced with finest of Cornish produce – the breakfast menu has to one of the most comprehensive we have ever seen. Canine Country Club, Luxurious Boarding Kennels for Dogs and Therapy Centre for your Pampered Pooch Morton Folly, Youlstone, Bude, North Cornwall We have never seen anything quite like the Canine Country Club. It is absolutely fabulous and after talking to Jackie and Tim, the incredibly friendly and hardworking owners of this unashamedly luxurious holiday accommodation for dogs, I began to understand their ethos and total commitment to the care of their doggie guests. They both hate the words "dog kennels" with a passion and after seeing the accommodations and facilities that they provide, you can understand why. This is a million miles away from anything resembling dog kennels: fabulous suites, underfloor heating, decorated in a homely way including ticking clocks, nightlights, your dog's favourite music and food, hydrotherapy, massage. The Country Club is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is securely fenced. Jackie and Tim understand that owners cannot always take their dogs away with them and that also dogs need holidays too, especially if they live in an urban environment. Here, they will receive unconditional love and attention, and will be able to interact with the other doggie guests and the host of different animals that live here. Jackie and Tim provide a chauffeur collection and return service for your precious dog. You do have to see this place to appreciate how wonderful it is for dogs.
