There are fourteen immaculate and individually designed rooms, from standard manor rooms that are stunning right through to giant suites that are simply to die for, all having super touches such as Molton Brown toiletries, fresh fruit and dreamy fluffy bath robes. The food at Boscundle Manor is incredibly good and dining is a romantic affair where candles and low lighting together with fresh flowers in tall dramatic vases and elegant glassware abound, creating just the right atmosphere. Boscundle Manor is a stunning location for civil partnership wedding ceremonies and receptions. It is little wonder that they have won so many awards. This place is just fabulous.

It has six pretty bright and beautifully presented bedrooms: four en suite and two with private facilities. Most have stunning views across the beach to the ocean and two of these rooms have private balconies which are great for enjoying a glass of something special whilst looking at the fabulous views. The sunsets here are simply amazing. All the rooms have Freeview TV, free WiFi broadband and generous hospitality tray, and importantly for the less able traveller there is a ground floor bedroom. The atmosphere at Chellowdene is fun, friendly and laid back and a big plus is that no children under ten are accommodated. Marcus who owns and runs the park appears to have thought of everything: spotlessly clean heated toilets & showers, a fabulous shop and off licence that also sells a vast array of camping essentials & accessories. The pitches are immaculate with many facilities and the park is well drained with a location that overlooks the estuary. There is even a slipway for launching your boat or jet-ski. Quite simply one of the best kept, managed and friendliest parks we know of.

Eden Cottage Mevagissey is a magical and ancient Cornish fishing village full of atmosphere and narrow lanes. Down such a thoroughfare is where we found Eden Cottage, reputedly 300 years old and as you would expect, full of charm with an enthralling character and only a 2 minute walk from the vibrant harbour. With the cottage accommodation being spread over three floors, it is incredibly spacious and has a wealth of period features that include exposed beams in every room. At the heart of Eden Cottage is a large dining table to gather round & an incredibly well equipped kitchen with all the little things that you so often need on a self-catering holiday but rarely find. A super comfortable cottage in the very heart of beautiful Mevagissey.

The Old Barn Stephen had only one thought when he designed and fitted this holiday cottage: quite simply his guests, from the first floor lounge and balcony that provides great views of the countryside to a state of the art shower. The kitchen has more appliances and gadgets than you can shake a stick at, and there is even a supply of herbs and spices in the cupboard, or you can pick your own from the garden. Fabulous.

Chelsea House Built for a ship's captain in 1908, this super house is full of elegance and charm, and can be found tucked away in one of Falmouth's quietest locations, only 100 metres from the sea front. There are eight fabulous, beautifully presented bedrooms all of which are en-suite, many with stunning views of the bay and ocean beyond; 3 even have private balconies. The pretty, immaculately kept gardens have a terrace which is a real suntrap and wonderful for relaxing in the afternoon. Donna and Tony really do care about their guests and this is evident from the friendly and enthusiastic welcome when you arrive to the many extras they provide for their guests, not forgetting the substantial and very good breakfasts.
