Gay Owned and Run Bed and Breakfast Mevagissey Cornwall Pisky Cottage, Gay Owned Bed and Breakfast River Terrace, Mevagissey, Cornwall ![]() www.piskycottage.com Pisky Cottage is a traditional listed Cornish Cottage bed and breakfast just a stone’s throw from the harbour in the heart of Mevagissey, one of Cornwall’s most beautiful and famous fishing villages. Pisky Cottage is so named after the Cornish little people also known as Piskey or Pixie. Whether you are a believer or not, Pisky Cottage is quaint, deliciously quirky and conjures up an atmosphere of Cornish myths and legends where pirates, wreckers and little people roamed. Howie and Andy, the smashing friendly and down to earth couple who own and run Pisky Cottage, provide a friendly, homely yet polished service. After all both Howie and Andy have spent many years in the hospitality industry and are masters of the rare and fine art of making you feel relaxed and pampered without being intrusive. There is a pretty lounge dining room that is full of charm and very much the hub of this bed and breakfast with a low and quirky staircase (which is another great feature of this cottage) where you will have to duck a little; this leads you to the Snug where you can sit and relax. The snug also has books, local information, games and DVDs. There are two beautifully presented en-suite bedrooms here at Pisky Cottage that are equipped with flat screen digital Freeview TV with DVD player, ipod dock, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, complementary toiletries, generous hospitality tray, glasses and a corkscrew. Breakfasting here at Pisky’s is an unhurried affair with delicious delights waiting to temp you from a traditional Cornish full Monty to smoked salmon with Cornish scrambled eggs. Apart from the obvious comforts here at Pisky Cottage Bed and Breakfast it’s the commitment from Howie and Andy in providing their special and very unique brand of hospitality that brings guest back time and time again. Well done you two. |

Gay Lesbian Friendly Holiday Cottages and Licensed
Civil Wedding Ceremony Venue Carnmenellis Redruth Cornwall Little White Alice Lesbian Gay Friendly Holiday Cottages and Wedding Venue, Carnmenellis , Redruth, Cornwall ![]() www.littlewhitealice.co.uk Hidden amidst the ancient heaths and hills in the heart of the wild untamed natural beauty of the Cornish countryside we found a scattering of five beautiful holiday cottages nestled peaceful in twenty-five acres of private gardens, coppiced woods & grounds. There is an ethereal quality here that promotes a sense of peace and serenity that flows effortlessly throughout this enchanting and magical idyll. The holiday cottages are all named after indigenous broad leaf trees that are to be found in abundance around Little White Alice and the interiors of the cottages are simply to die for which is testament that suitability & caring deeply for the environment is not all sackcloth & ashes. You see for Simon & Rosie, caring for the environment is a way of life not just a recent whimsical attempt to jump on the politically correct bandwagon of sustainability as they have been practising it for years. Their stunning cottages come in various shapes and sizes that accommodate from 1-12 guests in amazing contemporary comfort and you can book all of them for an amazing gathering of up to 22 friends or family. The cottages sit in an area with lush gardens, and there is a beautiful natural swimming pool. Outside this little haven Simon and Rosie have a kitchen garden, nuttery and orchard from which they provide produce for their guests to enjoy. Simon and Rosie seem to have thought of everything right down to the little things that you always need but rarely find when self-catering and they even provide a welcome hamper sourced with locally produced goodies together with fresh flowers on your the table to greet you, and a handsome supply of free kindling and logs. Gentle reader I make no apologies for being slightly gushy about Little White Alice but it is without doubt a magical place to stay owned and run by two amazing and very friendly people. |
