It has six pretty bright and beautifully presented bedrooms: four en suite and two with private facilities. Most have stunning views across the beach to the ocean and two of these rooms have private balconies which are great for enjoying a glass of something special whilst looking at the fabulous views. The sunsets here are simply amazing. All the rooms have Freeview TV, free WiFi broadband and generous hospitality tray, and importantly for the less able traveller there is a ground floor bedroom. The atmosphere at Chellowdene is fun, friendly and laid back and a big plus is that no children under ten are accommodated. Julie and Troy, the owners welcome you just like old friends and both work tirelessly to ensure your stay with them is both comfortable and enjoyable. Chellowdene conjures up fond childhood memories of glorious holidays by the sea: the salt in the air, the sound of surf, and the cry of the gulls; it's what holidays are made of. Do remember to leave room for Julie's fabulous breakfasts, they are legendary. |

Well that’s quite a tall order; however we found Rosslyn Hotel in Falmouth that was built in the 1900’s and has recently been refurbished and upgraded. It still retains many of the Victorian features and atmosphere. So if you don’t want to spend your hard earned holiday cash on boutique rooms on top of the shoreline we think that Rosslyn Hotel will fit the bill for you perfectly. Rosslyn Hotel has comfortable rooms that are equipped with television, hairdryer, generous hospitality tray, internet connection, CD Players and ironing facilities. The Rosslyn has a restaurant that serves uncomplicated good honest food (the steaks are seriously scrummy) using local produce whenever possible. To be honest, you would be hard pressed to cook these dishes any cheaper at home. Rosslyn Hotel is just a ten minute gentle stroll from the town centre and the sea front, and if you don’t feel like wandering there is a large subtropical garden where you can sit and relax with a glass or two of something special and soak up the sun, weather permitting. The hotel sits on the northern side of Falmouth with far reaching views across the town to the sea and countryside beyond. The Rosslyn Hotel is owned and run by an amazingly friendly couple Roy and Angela who take great pride in providing a fabulous gay friendly welcome, ensuring that The Rosslyn Hotel is a place where gay and lesbian travellers just like you can relax, unwind and enjoy your holiday in a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Bay View is located above the town at the top of Busvannah and has spectacular views across open countryside to Falmouth Bay, Penryn and the coean beyond.
